Who We Are

Our History

Beginning in 1992 as a small high school in Redmond of 30 students, Central Christian School is now a dynamic ministry serving over 400 preschool through grade 12 students annually with hundreds of successful graduates. Central Christian is recognized as one of the top 50 Christian high schools in the nation by TheBestSchools.org. Through choosing to fully participate in the education that Central Christian offers, Central Christian graduates go on to live as Christ followers in their communities, advancing the Kingdom through their example and service.

In 2004, Central Christian completed its first accreditation process through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (Cognia). Central Christian designed a strategic plan in 2010 that included a search for and purchase of an academic building that would accommodate a larger number of students. After much prayer and consideration, the search ended with the purchase of a 20,000 sq. ft. building in The Campus Within the Park. The property also included land for two playgrounds. God’s favor continued to pour out over the school community when it was given the opportunity to purchase an adjacent lot with a 14,000 sq. ft. building. Through the generous giving of hundreds of donors, Central Christian School was able to make a down payment to purchase the parcel in the spring of 2018. In the fall of 2020 after extensive remodeling, Central Christian occupied its first home gymnasium - Tiger Territory.

In 2021 we acquired the vacant 3.56-acre lot adjacent to our campus to expand student opportunities in athletics and in early 2023 we closed escrow on the 15,000 square foot building adjacent to our large playground that will be transformed into our new middle and high school for the 2023-24 school year.

The last thirty years have been transformational and as we continue to plan and strategize for the future, we recognize what a blessing it's been to have had a front row seat at Central Christian to witness the goodness of God being poured out over the lives of young people. To God be the glory!
