Beyond the Classroom

6th-12th Student Life

It is the very pulse of Central Christian School that each student glorifies God in dynamic relationships by developing a personal relationship with Jesus and strong relationships with each other. This is achieved through Athletics, Chapel, Community Service, Fall Advance, Student Leadership classes, and Travel Club (to mention a few).

Chapel is a key component of our weekly schedule

Students in grades 6-8 and 9-12 gather weekly for chapel. This a time for students to reflect on their spiritual development and be challenged to continue to grow. As a school community, we gather to worship, pray, and study Scripture together. Students hear messages from various engaging speakers and participate in guided reflection activities. CCS also selects a theme and Scripture passage for each year. Chapel is a time to draw the communities attention back to our theme and work together on how to engage with it. Additionally, chapel serves as a space to celebrate exciting aspects of student life at CCS. The student council shares information on upcoming events and leads our community in fun activities.

Preparation for Graduation and Beyond:

At Central Christian, we believe that each student has a role to play in advancing God’s kingdom. Our heart is to help them discover their unique talents and passions and then to come alongside them as they prepare academically and spiritually to play their role in God’s story.
