Mrs. Lawson moved to Central Oregon in 2020 after living in NW Oregon her entire life and she is thoroughly enjoying exploring this beautiful part of Oregon with all of the hiking and outdoor opportunities. Not a completely new face to CCS, Mrs. Lawson taught middle school P.E. and electives last school year and is looking forward to continuing to build relationships with middle school students she became acquainted with during the past year.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science/Communication from Southern Oregon University.

She shares "getting to show students the glory of God displayed in the universe is very exciting to me. One of my favorite quotes is, "The work will wait while you show the child the rainbow, but the rainbow will not wait while you do the work." Exploring creation with students and witnessing those moments of discover are very rewarding."
