Megan McKim

Miss McKim was born and raised in Bend, Oregon and grew up in a Christian community.  She obtained her Liberal Arts degree with emphases in English and Theology from Concordia University Irvine. She returned to Central Oregon after college due to Covid and was initially hired as a preschool teacher at CCS.  She has always had a deep desire to teach at a Christian school and loves the community these schools often create.

Miss McKim shares, "I love the tenacity middle schoolers have for life and watching them grow in their individuality. In addition to teaching English Language Arts, I am offering a middle school leadership elective for students to learn how to plan events, encourage school spirit, and create community amongst their peers. I am so excited for the middle and high school students to have their own building and I love creating a classroom experience where students feel loved, valued, and heard!
