Mariah McTeer

Director of Early Education/Student Learning Services Coordinator

After marrying her husband Chadd in 2017, they decided to travel to some special areas and Central Oregon was the first place they traveled to. Visiting here was supposed to be the start of their travel; however, they forgot about all those other places during our first visit. They began traveling to Central Oregon every chance they had and each arrival felt like coming home. Like many times before, they prayed for God's timing, and He opened the doors to move here in 2019. They had their beautiful baby girl, Haven, in December 2021. She has been the perfect addition to their little family.

Mrs. McTeer decided to apply for an Early Education position at Central Christian in late spring of 2022. It had been many years since she worked at a Christian school, and her heart longed to speak openly about Jesus in her classroom. The 2022-2023 school year was her first year at CCS as a prekindergarten teacher and Assistant Early Education Director. She became the director the following school year.

She has Associate's degree in Early Intervention from Fresno City College and a Bachelor's of Art in Early Childhood Education from Fresno Pacific University.

Mrs. McTeer loves being able to meet children where they are and ensure support is put into place to help them learn and develop to the best of their ability.
