Horatio Alger Scholarship Program October 25, 2020
Horatio Alger Association seeks students who have exhibited determination, integrity, and perseverance
in overcoming adversity, as well as have critical financial need. Scholarships offered include state level at
$10,000 each, national level at $25,000 each, and Career and Technical Scholarships for students
wishing to pursue a career or technical education at a non-profit post secondary institution at $2,500

The Scholarship December 31, 2020
The Student-Caregiver Scholarship provides financial assistance to students who are caring for an adult
relative while enrolled in college.

National Honors Society Scholarship Program December 1, 2020
The application process for the 2020-2021 NHS Scholarship program opens October 1, 2020. All senior
members in good standing will be eligible to apply.

College Prowler $2,000 No Essay Scholarship Last day of every month
Open to all students applying to college within 12 months. One entry per month. Easy 5 minute
application due the last day of each month.

WiseGeek Nurse Appreciation Scholarship December 31, 2020
We’re awarding $500 to students interested in pursuing a nursing career through our WiseGeek Nursing
Appreciation Scholarship. We’re hoping our scholarship can inspire more students to consider a nursing


Wise-Geek Women in STEM Scholarship December 31, 2020
The WiseGeek Women in STEM Scholarship is meant to support and encourage young women to pursue
a degree in STEM. This $500 award will help female high school students pay their college tuition.


SAE Engineering Scholarship Opens January 4, 2021
Your intended major – Engineering or other. Refer to the criteria on each scholarship page to determine
if you are eligible to apply. Related sciences include: math, chemistry, physics, biology, technologies,
computer science, etc.

Doodle for Google 2021/TBD
Students in grades K-12 are invited to take part in the Doodle 4 Google contest, and create a doodle that
tells the world “What I see for the future.” From crayons to clay, graphic design, or even food, young
artists can utilize any materials to bring their creation to life. Like all Google Doodles, each doodle must
incorporate the letters G-o-o-g-l-e. One national winner will also receive a $30,000 college scholarship.

State 4-H Scholarships Check site for deadlines
The State 4-H Program in Oregon offers scholarships to college-bound high school seniors who are
currently enrolled in the Oregon 4-H program, and have been members for a minimum of three years,
including the current year. Visit site for all available scholarships.

Faith for the Future Scholarship, Seattle Pacific University Regular Admission- January 15, 2021
For undergraduate students who will benefit from SPU’s transformative education, actively participating
in the life of faith here: growing, leading, and giving back to the community.

Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Scholarships January 31, 2021
All applicants must be citizens of the United States and must attend or plan to attend an accredited
college or university in the United States. DAR chapter sponsorship is not required; however, a chapter
or state chairman may work with the applicant to put the information together to send to the DAR
Scholarship Committee.

OSAC Early deadline Feb 15/ Final Mar 1, 2021
Over $10 million offered in scholarships. For graduating high school students going to college the
following fall semester. Numerous scholarships are available through this application process, most of
which apply to Oregon colleges.

Healthcare Scholarship Foundation of Central Oregon (Will not be offered 2021 due to Covid)
HSFCO’s mission is to encourage and inspire interested and qualified Central Oregon students to pursue
careers in healthcare by providing funding for educational opportunities.

Redmond Kiwanis Club: Glenn Swearingen Vocal Music Scholarship March 2021/ TBD
For students with vocal musical talents and a record of music activities who plan to continue pursuing
vocal music as a recreational life skill or a specific career. This $500 scholarship will be awarded to a
chosen student evaluated on the following: Vocal music activities, SAT scores, grade point average,
academic record, school activities, financial need, and an essay. Pick up an application from Mrs.
Reynolds, CCS College and Career Advisor.

Redmond Kiwanis Club: Don Rich Memorial etc. March 2021/ TBD
Applications will be evaluated on the following: SAT scores, grade point average, academic record,
school activities, financial need, and an essay. Pick up an application from the CCS College and Career
Advisor, Mrs. Reynolds.

CEAHEC Scholarships March 2021/ TBD
Cascades East Area Health Education Center and the St. Charles Foundation currently offer student
scholarships for those students who have a desire to enter into a health care career and practice in a
rural Oregon area as a certified nurse assistant, registered nurse, nurse practitioner, physician assistant,
or other health professional. You can find all the information and application on our website.

VFW Deschutes Post 4108 Scholarships March 2021/ TBD

SELCO Community Credit Union March 2021/ TBD
Eligible if you plan to attend a two- or four-year college or university and are a SELCO member or
immediate family member of a SELCO member. (Our employees and their families aren’t eligible.)

THE John Estelle Scholarship March 2021/ TBD
The family of John W. Estelle is offering a one-time $1,000 scholarship to a senior who attends one of
the four main high schools in Redmond, Oregon. This scholarship is offered to a qualified high school
student that is pursuing a college degree. See Mrs. Reynolds for an application. This scholarship is in
honor of Mrs. Reynolds’ late father.

Redmond Realtors Scholarship April 2021/ TBD
These $1000 scholarships will be based on need and may be used at any college, university, community
college, or trade school. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or better. This scholarship is available to
graduating seniors only. Please pick up an application from Mrs. Reynolds, CCS Guidance Counselor
H.A. McCoy Engineering & Surveying, LLC Scholarship April 2021/ TBD

H.A. McCoy Engineering & Surveying is offering a one-time $1000 scholarship to a senior who attends
one of the four main high schools in Redmond, Oregon. They are looking for a student who is proactive,
dedicated, and hardworking and has more to offer than just good grades.

Mahin and Saifulla Salemy High School Scientific Scholarship May 2021/ TBD

Oregon Promise Open now, deadline June 1, 2021
Available to Oregon HS students attending community college beginning no later than Fall, 2021. Need
based – you must complete the FAFSA and then apply for the Oregon Promise at the site below.

The Scholarship July 2021/ TBD
The Caregiver Scholarship is intended for students who are passionate about helping
seniors live healthy lives and are pursuing careers in senior care. The award can be used towards tuition
and/or books.

College Board Opportunity Scholarships Various deadlines
Starting in your junior year in HS. The more effort you put in, the more opportunities you have to earn a
scholarship. Complete all six, and you’re eligible to earn $40,000. Scholarships will be awarded through
monthly drawings to students who complete each action. Look online to see the checklist and deadlines.
