Statement of Faith

We believe and teach:

The Bible.

The Bible is the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21).
The Trinity.

There is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19-20, Genesis 1:26).
The Deity of Christ

Jesus Christ is true God and true man (John 10:33), born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35), lived a sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, 7:26), performed miracles (John 2:11), died on a cross as a substitutionary sacrifice (1 Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9), rose from the dead (John 11:25, 1 Corinthians 15:4), ascended to the right hand of God (Mark 16:19), will return to power and glory (Acts 1:11, 1Thessalonians 4:16-18, Revelation 19:11).
Creation was Completed in Six Days.

God created the heavens and the earth in six 24-hour days (Genesis 1).
Male and Female

God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as either male or female at conception, and these two distinct genders together reflect the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27, Galatians 3:26-28).

Marriage is designed by God to be an exclusive and intimate union between a man and a woman for the purpose of mutual blessing, procreation, and the training up of children. This covenantal relationship is a symbol of Christ’s perfect relationship to the Church (Genesis 1:27-28, Genesis 2:18-24, Mark 10:6-9, Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Proverbs 6:20-22, Proverbs 22:6).
The Fall of Man.

Mankind was made in God’s image, but voluntarily disobeyed God and fell away from Him (Romans 5:12).
Salvation Through Grace.

While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. All who trust in Him as Savior are pardoned and will live with Christ eternally (John 3:16, Romans 5:8).
The Work of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is active in the lives of born-again believers, helping to conform each one to the image of Christ (John 14: 26, I Peter 1:2).
The Spiritual Unity of Believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Unity is found in the body of believers, also known as the Church (1Corinthians 12:12-13, John 13:34-35).
Heaven and Hell.

Heaven is a glorious eternal home for Christ followers, and Hell is an eternal place of torment for all who reject Christ as Savior (John 5:28-29, John 14:1-3, Matthew 25:31-46).
