April Kidwell

I am a fourth generation Oregonian. I grew up in Central Oregon and graduated from Redmond High. I earned an AA from COCC, a BS from Western Oregon University, and a M. Div. from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. I've taught 2nd grade, 7th and 8th grade Spanish/ESL, and substitute taught K-12 for twelve years. In 2005 I married and inherited my two amazing children, and worked as a mommy and writer before coming to CCS. I enjoy writing (novel is 2/3 complete), reading, playing soccer with my son, teaching my daughter to cook, and lazy afternoon coffee/chess dates with my husband. My favorite part about being at CCS is the students, and teaching them to be better writers.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard you hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:6,7
