Accreditation

CCS (preschool-grade 12) is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (NAAS k-grade 12). Accreditation offers CCS a structure for continual improvement and excellence. In addition, it allows for high school credits to transfer to other schools and can ease the college admittance process.

Oregon State Registration
CCS is a registered private school in the State of Oregon. We follow the state requirements for course work, instructional time, and days in attendance. Our teachers are qualified on the basis of one of the following state requirements for registered private schools (OAR 581-045-0530): 

1. Possess a current teaching certificate from any state, which shall be valid for three years until the teacher has completed certification for the State of Oregon. 
2. Teach at least half-time in the subject field in which the B.S. B.A. degree was obtained, which shall be valid for three years while the teacher is enrolled in an educational program leading to a teaching certificate in the state of Oregon. 
3. Possess relevant verifiable experience, other than the above, consistent with the educational goals of the school and filed with the Department of Education.
